Members of All India Youth Federation affiliated to CPI on Monday expressed their opposition to the proposed hydro-carbon exploration project in the delta region by sending postcards to the Prime Minister.

The federation members led by their urban district secretary, M. Selvakumar, sent the postcards from Tiruchi Head Post Office. Around 350 postcards were sent to the Prime Minister opposing the project and urging the Centre not to destroy the livelihood of the people of Tamil Nadu by way of its implementation, said CPI sources.
