The Tiruchi and Pudukottai district units of All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) have decided to extend support to S. Sridhar, Communist Party of India(Marxist) candidate in Tiruchi Lok Sabha constituency. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of AIDWA’s Tiruchi and Pudukottai units here on Friday. AIDWA State secretary Valentina, Tiruchi district president Chitra, district secretary Renuka and other members of the organisation took part. It was decided to explain to the people the need to vote for the Left parties by distributing pamphlets and the reasons to reject the Congress, the BJP, and its allies besides the DMK and the AIADMK.

The meeting resolved to garner door-to-door support for the CPI(M) candidate in all the six Assembly segments falling under the Tiruchi Parliamentary constituency, a release here said.
