The Directorate of Technical Education has opened a facilitation centre at Government Arts College here to help students apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission.

Collector T. Anbalagan said on Wednesday that students, who wanted to participate in TNEA 2019, should register themselves on TNEA portal. They could register from their computers or computer centres. If they were uncomfortable in completing registration process, they could visit the facilitation centre. Arrangements were made for them to complete the process of applying. The registration will begin on Thursday and end on May 31. Candidates will be allotted a 10 digit random number after their registration was completed.

The second phase of counselling will be held between June 6 and June 11 to verify certificates and documents. The candidates should visit the centre for certificate verification. Online interview for counselling will be conducted between July 3 and July 28. The candidates could participate in the counselling from their homes. If needed, they could visit the facilitation centre.
