Special trains between Tiruchirappalli and Bangalore

Weekly summer special trains between Tiruchirappalli and Bangalore (06803 and 06804) have been introduced by the Southern Railway.

A Railway website said that the special train services introduced on April 4 from Trichirappalli and April 5 from Bangalore and will have stopping at Bangalore Cantonment, Baiyappanahalli, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Omalur, Salem, Erode, Pugalur, Karur, Kulitalai.

The weekly train operates every Monday from Tiruchirappalli and Tuesday from Bangalore. The train starts from Tiruchirappalli at 11.30 p.m. on Monday and reaches Bangalore at 10 a.m. the next day. From Bangalore, the train starts at 11.15 a.m. and reaches Tiruchirappalli on the same day at around 9.30 p.m.

The special train will be operated totally 10 trips on either way.

The Weekly Express Special has a total of 18 Coaches comprising one AC 2 tier coach, two AC 3 tier coaches, 11 second class sleepers, two general second class coaches, and two second class luggage–cum –brake vans.

The trains will be operated till June 7 from Bangalore and June 6 from Tiruchirappalli.
