Ganga Jal through
post offices
India Post has launched distribution of Ganga Jal through post offices as well as online platform across the country. For this purpose, the Ganga Jal is being sourced at Rishikesh and Gangotri. The bottle will be available in two sizes — 200ml and 500 ml — in recyclable plastic bottles. The cost a bottle sourced at Rishikesh is Rs. 15 for 200 ml and Rs. 22 for 500 ml. The one sourced at Gangotri is Rs. 25 for 200 ml and Rs. 35 for 500 ml. This facility will be available in two Post Shoppes in the Central region in the first phase — in Tiruchi and Thanjavur Head Post Offices. Public could order through “ePost Office Portal” also.
