An awareness camp on control and prevention of dengue fever was recently organised at the Armed Reserve Police Grounds by the Police Department.

The camp, which was inaugurated by R. Lalitha Lakshmi, Superintendent of Police, targeted police officers and their families.

K. Velayudham from DD Health Services, who addressed the officers and their families, touched upon the ways in which the spread of the disease could be contained.

He also spoke on the need to maintain cleanliness at all police stations in Tiruchi as well as the Police Quarters in the city.

The camp was attended by nearly 200 people.
