The provision of high-mast lamps on the Aristo Bridge in the city has ensured not only beautification but safety to road users both on and below the bridge.
Though a part of the bridge was thrown open to traffic about a year ago, the non-provision of high-mast lamps was posing a threat to road users.
Apart from motorists on the bridge, lack of safety posed a threat to pedestrians below the bridge. The design of the lights has been such that it has illuminated the entire area. Scores of high-mast lamps have been illuminating the area.
