Educational assistance for wards of convicts

Educational assistance in the form of notebooks and school bags were given to wards of convicts and murder victims at a function organised here on Saturday.

Notebooks and schools bags were distributed to as many as 160 students during the function that was organised by the Tiruchi-based Bethel Welfare Centre.

Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Tiruchi, A. Murugesan and Regional Probation Officer, Tiruchi, P. Thiagarajan distributed the educational assistance.

Probation Officer, Tiruchi, K. Sethuraman, Project Coordinator, Bethel Welfare Centre, Tiruchi, J. Bharathidas were present.
