College Rector dies of heart attack
Rev. Fr. P. Susai (54), Rector of St. Joseph's College died of massive heart attack on Sunday.
Fr. Susai had spent 33 years in the Society of Jesus and ordained a priest in 1990. He had held several administrative positions, including those of Controller of Examinations and Warden in the St. Joseph's College and Vice-Principal in Loyola College, Chennai.
On missing Fr. Susai at Mass, Jesuits including College Principal Fr. A. Sebastian and a senior police official broke open the door and entered the room in the Jesuit Residence where Fr. Susai was found lying on his bed lifeless.
A funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's College Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, a press release issued by the college said.
