The re-examination for Plus-Two Physics paper was held for 262 students belonging to three schools with cent per cent attendance at the Musiri Government Boys' Higher Secondary School on Thursday.
The re-examination was necessitated after the bundle containing answer scripts of students belonging to the Musiri, Ayyampalayam and Thandalaiputhur higher secondary schools went missing. Police investigations led to a surmise that the bundle was lost by the Postal Department during transit between Musiri and Tiruchi.
By and large, students found the examination to be easy, it is learnt. Accompanied by the Chief Educational Officer, K. Swaminathan, the Joint Director of School Education – Higher Secondary A. Karuppasamy supervised the conduct of the re-examination. The School Education Department has taken possession of the bundle of answer scripts for delivery at the office of the Director of School Education, sources said.
