ViCTERS to offer 24-hour edutainment

The KITE ViCTERS educational channel will now be telecast 24 hours a day.

Against the backdrop of the channel being aired for 24 hours a day, up from 17 hours, KITE has taken steps to ensure its inclusion on all direct-to-home networks.

A new portal for ViCTERS www.victers.kite. kerala.gov.in has also been rolled out to facilitate live streaming of programmes aired on the channel, weekly/daily schedules, details of important programmes, previous episodes, and so on. A mobile app ‘KITE ViCTERS’ has been made available on Google Playstore for free download, K. Anvar Sadath, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education, KITE, said.

Exam programme

ViCTERS has started a new exam-oriented programme ‘Ormakalundavanam’ for SSLC and Plus Two students.

The one-hour live programme for SSLC students is aired every day at 6 p.m. and that for Plus Two students at 7.30 p.m.

It will also air a programme ‘Little News’ that will feature news, documentaries, and programmes made by Little KITEs members in schools.
