Vellappally working against Guru’s tenets, says CPI(M)

: CPI(M) State unit secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has strongly reacted to Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan’s innuendos against Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan, stating that the former’s slanderous and pejorative remarks crossed all borders of decency.

He said Mr. Natesan, by launching a cheap attack against a person with long history of struggles spreading over decades, was merely trying to please his new found political masters. Mr. Natesan and his supporters were trying to convert a social organisation upholding social values propagated by Sree Narayana Guru to an appendage of the Sangh Parivar.

His meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, and RSS leaders to strike an alliance went totally against the tenets of the Guru.
