The Hindu in School to reach students in four govt. schools

To enhance English learning skills among students, Terumo Penpol, a company specialising in blood bags and transfusion equipment will sponsor The Hindu in four government schools.

Terumo Penpol, a home grown company specialising in the manufacture of blood bags and transfusion equipment, has taken the initiative to sponsor The Hindu in school products at four Government schools in Thiruvananthapuram to enhance English learning skills among students.

Baby P.S., Senior Manager (PR & CSR), Terumo Penpol Private Limited, inaugurated the CSR initiative at a function held at the Government LPS, Thuruthummoola, by handing over copies of the paper to the students. School Headmistress Padmakumari S., and representatives of The Hindu were present on the occasion.

Addressing the students, Ms Baby pointed out the importance of developing communication skills in English to excel in the highly competitive environment. Students of the Vilappilsala UPS, Peyad LPS and Cherukod LPS also will get copies of The Hindu In School, Young World and The Hindu Weekender during the academic year.
