Science fest gets under way

Kairali Expo – Spazio 2018, a three-day science festival organised in connection with the World Space Week observance got under way at the Kairali Vidya Bhavan Senior Secondary School in Nedumangad on Monday.

A. Sampath, MP, formally launched the exhibition. Nedumangad municipal chairman Chettachal Sahadevan inaugurated a food festival organised as part of the event. CBSE Management Association working president C. Rajmohan, Padma Shri recipient and traditional medicine practitioner Lakshmikutty, ward councillor C. Sabu, PTA president Manesh, academic advisor K.B.K. Unnithan, principal S. Lekha and vice principal Sindhu also participated in the inaugural session.

Around 25 stalls including that set up by LPSC, Valiamala, were part of the exhibition. The other participating organisations included Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Amrita TV, SCTIMST, Coirfed, Kerala Archives, Archaeology Department, Kerala Fire and Rescue Services and The Hindu.
