Sangh Parivar decision flayed

October 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:05 am IST - Thiruvananthapuram:

The decision of the Sangh Parivar to observe the day of the hanging of Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse as ‘Balidan din’ is a shame on the country, the State Committee of the Purogamana Kalasahitya Sangham has said.

“Gandhi’s assassination was the first attack on Indian democracy. The Sangh Parivar is shamelessly trying to make a national hero out of his assassin. They are trying to bring rule of the religion here and are eliminating nationalistic leaders and our renaissance tradition,” the PuKaSa said in a press release. — Staff Reporter
