Salary of government pleaders to be revised

The Cabinet has decided to revise the salary of government pleaders, Culture Minister K.C. Joseph has said. Mr. Joseph told reporters after a weekly Cabinet meeting here on Wednesday that the decision would be applicable to all government pleaders.

The Cabinet has decided in principle to set up a regional centre of the Kerala Institute for Local Administration (KILA) at Neyyattinkara.

The long-term agreement of Traco Cables has been approved on condition that it would not incur any additional financial burden to the government.

Aralam farm

The wages of labourers of Aralam farm would be revised with effect from January 1.

The service of casual workers in the farm who belong to the Scheduled Tribes and had completed 240 days would be regularised.

Registration fee would be waived for securing 14.66 ha of land for the new medical college at Karuvatta.
