The government has passed orders revising the pay of the employees of the Cooperative hospital societies.
A press note issued here said the revised minimum pay would be Rs. 6,000 and the maximum, Rs. 78,220. Earlier this was Rs. 4,010 and Rs. 56,120 respectively.
Fitness benefit
A fitness benefit of six percent would be given on the amount arrived at by merging 40 percent DA to the basic salary. A service weightage would be given when employees complete seven, 13 and 20 years of service.
A maximum of three stagnation increments would be given on a par with that received by government employees.
Increases have been effected in dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance, spectacles allowance, risk allowance, uniform allowance and washing allowance.
Fresh allowances
Moreover, fresh allowances have been sanctioned for pharmacist, lab technician, salesman, electrician, lift operator, driver, watchman, attender and cleaner.
The pay for these employees was last revised in July 2009, the press note added.
