The Asian School of Business here will observe January 3 to 10 as safety week, ahead of Constello ‘15, its maiden national management fete.

With art campaigns and rallies, the ASB will seek to generate awareness of various aspects of personal and public safety and of violence against women and children.

The campaign will also highlight issues such as road safety and the threat of terrorism. This was stated at a press conference here on Friday by Hari S. Nair, faculty member, ASB. Constello’s student coordinators Laila Faisal, Chandan Shibu, Vivek Gopan, and S.R. Arun were present.

As a part of the observance, a 3D painting drawn by a group of young artists, depicting safety issues, will be on display on Saturday and Sunday at the open floor space at Saphalyam Complex, Palayam.

ASB students will take out a motorbike rally from Shanghumugham beach to Palayam on Sunday to spread the message of road safety, Mr. Nair said.

Nearly 300 students are expected to take part in the management meet, which aims at providing students with a platform to showcase their talents and management skills. A safety booth will be set up on the campus to aid students.

Constello ‘15 will be open to management students from institutions around the country. It will feature a number of activities to put the intellectual, organisational and managerial skills of the students to test. There will be cultural programmes where young people will be able to showcase their talents.

Cash prizes totalling Rs.1.75 lakh will be given to winners of various titles, including the best manager, the best management team, corporate walk, voice of ASB, the best photographer, business quiz and network gaming. For details, visit www.constello.net
