The Kerala Government Hospital Employees Association has urged the government to protect the rights of basic-level Health Department employees. In a press release issued here on Friday, association district secretary T. Ajikumar said the government had whittled down the allowances and benefits of employees. Nursing assistants should be given timely promotion. Norms for transfer should be observed. There should not be out-of-the way transfers, he said.
The department should publish a seniority list, the statement said.
