A 35-year-old man died after a car hit his motorcycle near Kattayikkonam here on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Biju. According to the police, the accident happened at 4.45 p.m. Gireesh from Pappanamcode, the driver of the car, dozed off at the wheel near a Co-operative bank at Kattayikkonam. After brushing a parked car, it went on to hit two motorcycle riders, including Biju. The other rider suffered a fracture in the accident. The car finally stopped after hitting another parked vehicle. The police have registered a case against the driver.
