Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson launched a book on medicinal qualities of herbs and their pictorial representations here on Thursday.

Authored by a team led by P.M. Mathew, faculty at the Department of Botany, University of Kerala, the book deals with conservation, protection, and cultivation of the plants. “This is a work that calls for great appreciation as it is a storehouse of information on plants that are so essential for the survival of us humans,” Mr. Thomson said while releasing the book titled Bees’ Herbal Garden: a Garden in the Forest @ JNTBGRI .
