Biju Jacob, an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA and AS), took over as Chief Controller of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre here on Monday. A MBBS degree holder from the Government Medical College, Kottayam, and an MBA from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Jacob joined IA and AS in 1993. He had earlier worked in various capacities in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department in Kerala and Gujarat. Besides working as Account General of Nagaland, he was also on deputation to the Ministry of Defence, Sultanate of Oman. Before taking charge as Chief Controller, VSSC, he was the AG (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), Kerala. He is also ACL certified Data Analyst (Canada).
