Milma directive to consumers

January 18, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:09 am IST - Thiruvananthapuram:

Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma) has advised Milma agents and consumers to take extra precautions to prevent spoilage of milk, as day time temperatures have been climbing.

Milma agents have been asked to store milk in fridge/freezer/puff boxes as soon as they collect milk from the distribution vehicle and not to let it remain in room temperature or in water. Consumers have also been advised to store milk in fridge or freezer or to boil the milk and store if they do not intend to use it immediately. — Special Correspondent
