A tremor of magnitude 2.4 on the Richter scale shook the reservoir area of Idukki hydroelectric project at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to Kerala State Electricity Board authorities, the dam and the power installations in the place are safe. Initial indications are that the epicentre of the tremor was in the reservoir, a top official said
