The City police have issued a lookout notice for two Africans in connection with a cheating case in the city.
According to Suresh V. Nair, Circle Inspector, Thampanoor, the notice was issued for Henry of Guinea-Bissau and Williams of Ghana, who were believed to be still in the country. One of the accused, Mba Dinutu Iftany Jude alias Franklin Desmond, 33, of Nigeria, was arrested here on Saturday.
The case is in connection with Jude allegedly handing over a casket with fake currency worth $ 2.5 million to a woman, Sashikala, a native of Thrissur residing at Karamana in the city, for buying a resort in Varkala.
