The State Election Commission (SEC) on Thursday issued notification for holding by-election in 12 local body wards on May 26.
The last date for filing nomination is May 7. Counting is on May 27.
By-elections will be held at Nadakunnu at Idamulackal panchayat, Uzhathil at Kadapra panchayat, Kadampoor at Budanoor panchayat, Kidangoor South at Pampady block, Rajakumari North at Rajakumari panchayat, West Kadungalloor Central at Kadungalloor panchayat, Mahatma Nagar at Kaipamangalam panchayat, Kootilangadi at Mangada block, Ambalavattom at Edarikode panchayat, Kolupalam at Thalakkadu panchayat, and Pallipoyil at Chelannur panchayat. — Special Correspondent
