The LDF has complained to the Election Commission that Adoor Prakash, the UDF candidate in Attingal, has not yet published the details of criminal cases involving him in newspapers. Mr. Prakash had mentioned seven cases in his affidavit, but has not yet published their details in the media, V. Sivankutty, chief election agent for the LDF, said in his complaint to Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora. He requested the commission to initiate “appropriate action” against Mr. Prakash.
Sources close to Mr. Prakash dismissed the LDF claim.
