V. Sivankutty, MLA, has written to Governor P. Sathasivam urging him to look into what he termed Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s intervention in the Kadakampally- Kalamassery land deals involving his former gunman Salim Raj and that by the Advocate General favouring the accused in the two cases.
In a statement here on Thursday, Mr. Sivankutty said he had submitted evidences to prove his charges against the Chief Minister and the Advocate General.
Instead of protecting the State’s interests, what the Advocate General had done was to argue in favour of the Chief Minister’s former gunman. It was clear that he had done this at the instance of the Chief Minister. The matter should, therefore, be looked into closely and appropriate action taken, the CPI(M) legislator said.
