KVs in city honour CBSE toppers

The students and staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode, led by principal G. Sasikumar and cluster in-charge principal S. Ajayakumar, felicitated Class XII Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) toppers B. Arjun, of KV Pattom, who was the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan topper, and Safna Nazrudeen of KV Pangode, who was the Ernakulam region topper.

The toppers were felicitated at KV Pangode here on Thursday, with Arjun and Safna sharing their tips and secrets that helped them in the examinations.

They also interacted with the senior students of the school, imparting guidance and suggestion to improve their performance in board examination, a press release said.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, felicitated its outgoing student B. Arjun, who made the city proud by achieving the twin distinction of topping the State engineering entrance examination and emerging second in the CBSE Class XII examinations.

The school honoured 15 toppers of the Class XII examinationsat a function that was held during the morning assembly at the school premises on Thursday.

The chief guest of the function was Manish Kumar Agrawal, Associate Professor, University of South Florida, who is also an alumnus of the school. He gave away prizes to Arjun and the other toppers. School Principal B.S. Valsala Nair and Vice Principal Rani S.D. also spoke on the occasion.

In a separate function, Arjun was felicitated by the students and staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya, SAP Camp at Peroorkada.
