Kilikoottam summer camp at child welfare council

Kilikoottam, the annual summer vacation camp at the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare, Thycaud, is back.

The camp will get under way on April 8 at the Magic Park to come up on the council premises. Students from Classes 1 to X can take part in the camp, which will go on till May 20.

Music, instrumental music, dance, painting, origami, communicative English, general knowledge, acting, magic, poetry, prose, environment study, and film-making classes will be held. Trips will be conducted once a week.

A highlight of the camp is counselling classes for all children and their parents, if needed, in the wake of increasing instances of crims against children, council general secretary Deepak S.P. said.
