The Museum police have registered a case in connection with an alleged job fraud that is suspected to have left several candidates cheated. According to the police, a case has been registered against four persons, identified as Induja Nair, Ashok Kumar, Jijo Michael and Shahanaz. They have been been accused of collecting large sums, varying from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh, from around 20 job aspirants under the pretext of offering jobs in Aadhaar service centres. The gang, who is suspected to have distributed fake offer letters, is believed to have gone absconding. The Museum police have also filed a missing case on the basis of a complaint submitted by Induja Nair’s family.
