DYFI activists’ protest at CM’s function in Thiruvananthapuram

Thirteen activists of the DYFI were arrested by the Peroorkada police after they shouted slogans and attempted to disrupt a function which was attended by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the city on Wednesday.

Delay in repairs

The protest, taken out against the delay in repairs dug up to lay the KWA’s new transmission mainline in the area, was at the venue of the launch of the pipeline by Mr. Chandy at the KWA premises at Peroorkada. The police said the activists were later let off on bail.
