Deliver prompt services, CM tells employees

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday said it was the duty of employees to deliver prompt services to the people.

He was inaugurating the golden jubilee of the Kerala Secretariat Association here. The government would not tolerate delay in reaching financial assistance to the poor, he added.

Mr. Chandy said the government was aware of the needs and aspirations of the employees and would ensure that the salaries and service conditions of employees would be revised without delay. He offered to streamline distribution of pensions and find a solution to the ongoing debate on pension scheme for last grade employees.

Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty released a documentary on the past 50 years of the association.
