Corpn. honours Sindhu

The country’s first badminton world champion P.V. Sindhu was honoured by the city Corporation.

Sindhu who was driven in an open jeep in front of the city Corporation as part of a reception accorded to her by the State government was honoured at the Corporation gates by people’s representatives and employees, led by Mayor V.K. Prasanth. Sindhu was also presented with a memento. Pala MLA, Mani C. Kappan and various standing committee chairpersons were present.
