Parliamentary panel visit rescheduled

The Parliamentary Committee on Science and Technology, Environment and Forests will visit Kerala from November 12 to 15 to collect feedback on the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Bill 2015 and the environmental issues faced by the State.

The panel was earlier scheduled to visit the State from November 5 to 8.

The committee headed by Aswini Kumar, MP, will hold discussions with experts, civil society groups and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Kochi on November 14, it is learnt.
