The 62{+n}{+d}commemorative festival of Mar Ivanios, the architect of the Reunion Movement and the first Metropolitan Archbishop of Thiruvananthapuram, will be held at the St. Mary’s Cathedral, Pattom, from July 1 to 15. Following prayers at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Bishop Thomas Mar Anthonios, exarch of Khadki, near Pune, will lead the holy mass. Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, head of the Syro-Malankara Church, will lead the celebrations on the concluding day. Cardinal Peter Turkson, the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, will deliver the benedictory address.
