‘Athijeevanathinte Keralam’, a book on survival written by 11,212 students in 212 volumes, tells the tale of the State surviving two floods in successive years through the eyes of students.
It will be released on Wednesday in connection with Children’s Day.
In the book, students of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, many of whom have been directly affected by the rising waters this year and in 2018, have attempted to pen their thoughts on the dire situation faced by State and how it overcame the obstacles through sheer determination.
New layers and aspects of survival have been unveiled through the students’ writings.
