Bombay Sketches best pravasi amateur drama

Winners selected from 18 dramas staged at zonal festivals

Bombay Sketches by the New Bombay Keraleeya Samithi has won the All India Pravasi Amateur Drama competition organised by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi.

Shibu Raghavan has been chosen as the best actor (male) for his performance in the drama Gayathriyum Jameelayum by Janasamskrithi Delhi, while K.T. Vishnupriya won the award for the best actor (female) for her performance in Bombay Sketches.

Best director

Ajith G. Maniyan won the award for the best director for Ashantham, Ashtabandham by Vriksh the theatre from Delhi. J

ophin Manimala who wrote Thoomathippoovu for Maktub theatre, Chennai, and Anil Prabhakar who wrote Gayathriyum Jameelayum shared the award for the best writer.

The winners were chosen from among the 18 dramas staged at the zonal competitions organised in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
