Be kind to all: Bishop

February 16, 2012 08:30 pm | Updated 08:30 pm IST - PATHANAMTHITTA:

‘‘Stay awake, praying at all times,'' was a personal call from Jesus Christ to his disciples in order to make them aware of the many temptations in life, said Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana, evangelist from South Africa.

The South African Bishop was delivering the keynote address at the 117th Maramon Convention on Thursday.

Bishop Mpumlwana said with this message, Jesus was trying to make the disciples aware of the temptations in life that pull humans away from the meaning of life.

The Bishop said the believers should see to it that their charitable acts of kindness and generosity should build up a godly character in them and they should mirror the love of Jesus to everyone around.

Issac Mar Peelexenos Episcopa presided over the meet.

Kang-San-Tan, evangelist from Malaysia, delivered the keynote address in the afternoon session and Mathews Mar Makarios Episocpa addressed the gathering in the evening.
