An anti-corruption court here heard on Saturday that the investigation in the bar licence renewal bribery case would be completed in two months. Finance Minister K. M. Mani is the sole accused in the case. Counsel for the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau made the assurance when appealing against a plea to seek the court’s monitoring of the probe. Inquiry Commissioner John K. Illikadan set May 25 as deadline for bar hotel owners to state whether they were willing to be given a lie detector test in the case. – Special Correspondent
