Cautioning against unregulated exploitation of natural resources, Revenue Minister E. Chandrasekharan has called for a sustainable approach to the post-flood reconstruction programme.

Inaugurating a one-day workshop organised by the Kerala State Biodiversity Board, he said the floods had provided an opportunity to balance development needs with conservation.
