Health Minister V.S. Sivakumar has said traditional method of healthcare, ‘Nattu Vaidyam’, was yet to receive the importance it deserved.

Inaugurating the functioning of the Santa Wellness Centre and an Ayurveda-Nattu Vaidya medical camp, Mr. Sivakumar said the Ayurveda sector had witnessed significant progress during the term of the United Democratic Front (UDF) government.

The camp was led by noted medical experts including Mohanan Vaidyar, Sasya Bharathi Usthad Vaidyar Hamsa Madikkai, Raju Joseph Vaidyar, and Mallankanni Vaidyar.

They were felicitated by actor Suresh Gopi.
