AKPCTA expresses concern over attack on teachers

The All Kerala Private College Teachers’ Association (AKPCTA) has expressed concern over the recent violent incidents at MSM College, Kayamkulam, in which 10 teachers were injured.

A press note issued here said these incidents were the latest example of the intrusion of communal forces into educational institutions under the guise of student organisations. There had been attacks on teachers at this institution even before the latest incident.

However, no action was forthcoming from the authorities, including the police, the press note issued by AKPCTA general secretary K.L. Vivekanandan said.
