Minister for Local Self-government K.T. Jaleel on Wednesday inaugurated the revamped website of Kudumbasree.
The website aims at immediate analysis of poverty eradication and women empowerment programmes being undertaken by Kudumbasree across the State and ensuring functional transparency.
The districts units themselves can upload details of various projects being implemented, their progress, fund allocation, programmes to be held in connection with the scheme, photos, newspaper reports, and success stories of neighbourhood group members as and when they occur.
Micro-enterprise groups, group farming initiatives, new neighbourhood groups, and product details can be found on the website.
The highlight of the website is that the authorities concerned can check the figures submitted by various districts for the projects under way.
The public too can know about the projects and their progress and can give their feedback.
