Indian Panorama film festival from October 13

The Indian Panorama film festival, being jointly organised by the Kerala Information and Public Relations Department and the Directorate of Film Festivals, Delhi, would be held here from Oct 13 to 18.

Twelve films in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and English would be screened during the festival, an official press release said here on Sunday.

Priyanandanan’s `Pulijanmam’ (Birth of a Tiger) and M. Mohanan’s `Katha Parayumbol’ (When a story is being told) would be the Malayalam films to be screened at the festival which chooses panorama entries from International Film Festivals of India (IFFI).

`Kalluri,’ the Tamil film directed by Balaji Shaktivel would be the inaugural film of the event.
