Two-day film festival at university from April 9

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Mangalore University, in association with the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy will organise a two-day film festival ‘Reflexion-2019’ from April 9 at Mangala auditorium on the campus.

Film director from the Malayalam and Marathi film industry Prakash Bare will inaugurate it at 9.30 a.m. Director Abhaya Simha will be the chief guest.

Critically acclaimed and award winning films such as Paddayi , Shuddhi , Ammachchi Yemba Nenapu , Hebbettu Ramakka and Naathicharami will be screened. It will be followed by a discussion.

Chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, writer Na. Damodar Shetty, will attend the valedictory function on April, 10 at 4.30 p.m., according to a press release that was issued by the department.
