Three arrested in Mangaluru, cocaine seized

Sleuths from the City Crime Branch and Economic and Narcotic Police Station on Monday arrested three persons said to be involved in selling cocaine.

According to the police, the accused were arrested from a hideout near the Manglauru Junction Railway Staff Quarters. The police seized 30 grams of cocaine worth ₹ 2.4 lakh. They also seized four mobile phones and the car said to have been used by the accused.

The police gave the names of the accused as Fasim Naushib (25), Mohammed Zahid (26), both from Falnir in the city, and Afzal Hussain (28) of Manjeshwar in Kerala.

A search is on for the associates of the accused, the police said.
