Special trains between Mumbai and Mangaluru

The Railways will operate three special trains between Mumbai (two from Bandra and one from Mumbai Central) and Mangaluru during the Ganapati festival in August and September this year. A release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. here said that Train No 09001 Mumbai Central-Mangaluru Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave Mumbai Central at 11.55 p.m. on August 28, September 4 and September 11 to reach Mangaluru Junction at 9.55 p.m. the next day.

Train No 09002 Mangaluru Jn.-Mumbai Central Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.55 p.m. on August 29, September 5 and 12 to reach Mumbai Central at 10.25 p.m. the next day.

It comprises 18 LHB coaches, including two 2 Tier AC, eight 3 Tier AC, three Sleeper, two General, one Pantry and two generator car coaches.

Bandra-Mangaluru Jn.

Train No 09009 Bandra (Terminus)-Mangaluru Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave Bandra (T) at 11.45 p.m. on September 3 and 10 to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 9.55 p.m. the next day.

Train No 09010 Mangaluru Jn.-Bandra (T) Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.55 p.m. on September 4 and 11 to reach Bandra (T) at 10 p.m. the next day.

It comprises 20 LHB coaches, including one 2 Tier AC, three 3 Tier AC, 10 Sleeper, three General, one Pantry Car and one generator car coaches.

AC Special

Train No 09011 Bandra (T)-Mangaluru Jn. Weekly AC Special on Special Fare leaves Bandra (T) at 11.45 p.m. on September 1 and 8 to reach Mangaluru Jn. at 9.55 p.m. the next day.

Train No 09012 Mangaluru Jn.-Bandra (T) Weekly AC Special on Special Fare will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 11.55 p.m. on September 2 and 9 to reach Bandra (T) at 10 p.m. the next day.

It comprises 18 coaches, including two 2 Tier AC, six 3 Tier AC, eight AC Chair Car and two Sleeper-cum-3 Tier AC coaches.

Halts

All these trains will have halts at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Thivim, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal.
