Several train services partially cancelled following landslips at various places

The Railways has made changes in train services on Tuesday following the landslips at various places between Subrahmanya Road-Sakleshpur Ghat section of Mysuru Division.

Train No 16516 Karwar-Mangaluru Junction-Yeswantpur Tri-Weekly Express was partially cancelled between Mangaluru Junction and Yeswantpur.

Train No 16575 Yeswantpur-Mangaluru Junction Tri-Weekly Express was partially cancelled between Hassan and Mangaluru Junction.

Train No 16517 Bengaluru-Kannur Tri-Weekly Express which left Bengaluru on August 13 arrived at Hassan at 1.30 a.m. on August 14 and the train’s onward journey between Hassan and Mangaluru Central was cancelled.

Train No 16512 Kannur-Mangaluru Central-KSR Bengaluru Express via Shravanabelagola, which left Kannur on August 13, arrived at Shiribagilu at 2.05 a.m. on August 14.

The onward journey of the train was cancelled due to landslips.

The train returned to Mangaluru Junction at 7.37 a.m., according to a release from the Southern Railway.
