While the prohibitory orders restricting movement of five or more people in a group will end on Sunday morning, the city and district police will continue with the same amount of patrolling that was seen on Saturday.

“We will continue with our patrolling and police pickets,” said Police Commissioner P.S. Harsha. Superintendent of Police B.M. Laxmi Prasad said, “The patrolling on Sunday will be of the same scale was seen on Saturday. Our work will not come in the way of Id Milad (to be held on Sunday)”.

The city police carried out extensive route marches across the city. Of the total of 105 km of route march, nearly 30 km was done by police teams led by Dr. Harsha.

On Sunday morning, separate teams of police will carry out “Good Morning” beat duty wherein the patrolling personnel will check religious places between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.
